Mara Bauer lebt und arbeitet in Zürich.

Meine Arbeiten sind vielschichtig und experimentell. Die abstrakten Bilder ziehen den Betrachter durch ihre Farbigkeit und Lebendigkeit in ihren Bann.

Meine Motivation zu malen nehme ich aus meinem Innersten. Die Bilder entstehen spontan, nach Lust und Laune. Die Bilder sind abstrakt, bunt und kraftvoll. Die Farben spielen eine grosse Rolle. Oft sind sie laut, intensiv und wollen Emotionen und Gefühle vermitteln.

Die Formen und Strukturen sind nicht geplant, sie nehmen oft eine eigene Richtung ein. Oft arbeite ich mit Flächen und Linien. Meine Werkzeuge sind breite Pinsel, grosse Spachtel und Rakel.

Mit Leidenschaft setze ich Akzente, arbeitet mit verschiedenen Materialien wie Sand, Strukturpasten, Papier, Auswaschungen und Schichten.

Die Intension Bilder zu malen geht zusammen mit dem Wunsch dem Betrachter die Freude an der Kunst zu wecken.

My work is complex and experimental. The abstract paintings captivate the viewer with their colorfulness and liveliness.
My motivation to paint comes from within me. The paintings are created according to my mood.
The Artworks are abstract, colorful and powerful. The colors play a big role. Often they are loud, intense and want to convey emotions and feelings.

The forms and structures are not planned, they often take their own direction. I work with surfaces and lines.
My tools are wide brushes, large spatulas and squeegees. I am passionate about setting accents, working with different materials such as sand, structure pastes, paper, washes and layers.

The intention to paint goes together with the desire to awaken the viewers joy in art.
