Artist Statement
I appreciate the perfection in the human body as much as the geometry found in nature. My work involves blending figurative elements with the mysterious appeal of the abstract. Using noble metals like pure gold and copper connects me to the ancient Byzantine period, where artists sought the essence of light. Through these materials, I not only explore the play of light but also delve into the enigmatic relationship between light and the ever-shifting dimension of time. I focus on precise brushstrokes, ensuring every line is blended to create a subtle, almost blurry effect. This technique adds depth and texture to my work. My goal is to draw closer to the very source of art—where originality, transparency, and authenticity converge in the act of creation..
